This is a sampling of some of the watercolor paintings I made while living on Kaua'i. This was my first experience with watercolors and although I've always been creative, I've never been much of a painter. I think the sweet and gentle energy of the island brought out a new aspect of my creativity which I have really enjoyed exploring. The imagery is unlike anything I have done before. It's really childlike and playful. I have been using some of these images on greeting cards and on the tops of wooden boxes. I am also in the process of having t-shirts and printed greeting cards made.

Interestingly, these were all done before my experience with the dolphins on the Big Island. In retrospect, it appears that they were speaking of adventures yet to come.

These images are available on T-shirts, coffee mugs, mousepads and more... http://www.cafeshops.com/xenira
